SECONDly, Oxi Fresh offers SIX (6) services; 1. Carpet cleaning, 2. Tile and grout cleaning and sealing, 3. Upholstery cleaning, 4. Total Odor Control and elimination, 5. Carpet Recovery (pull system) and 6. Hardwood floor cleaning. I have only development the market for the first 3 services…half of what could be offered. In addition to a general customer base expansion by a full time manager, the potential is there to DOUBLE the gross sales by adding the last 3 services Oxi Fresh offers. |

| Competition:
The total number of carpet cleaning businesses for Phoenix and the East Valley cities totals over 115. This includes both large companies and 'one-man and a van' operations. Of these companies, 13 of them advertise as being officially "GREEN". All but two of them, however, use either steam or hot water extraction methods which uses up to 40 gallons of water to clean a normal house. We can clean with 1-2 gallons. An additional 25 companies promote themselves as using "non-toxic" cleaning products, again with high water usage.
Only three companies offer all the attributes we promote; Chem Dry (division of Home Depot), Clean Pro Carpet Cleaning and Shaggy Carpet Cleaning. These would be viewed as direct competition.
Oxi Fresh offers prices in competition to "traditional" carpet cleaning methods but with the benefits of "green, non-toxic and low water usage". Our direct competition generally is 10% - 20% higher. |
