The March Group, LLC currently represents a well-established and reliable manufacturer of plastic injection molds and molded parts. Capabilities range from product development, to prototype/production tooling and short and long volume plastic injection molding. Also available are secondary machining, product assembly and packaging. Specializes in small to medium size runs, using engineering-grade or high temperature resins. Emphasis on highly-skilled design capabilities, accounting for nearly 60% of revenues, helps to combat overseas competition. Serves a variety of industries including the water, cap closure, medical products, and electronic parts markets. Extensive inventory of equipment allows for production between 50 and 350 metric tons. In the past few years, the Company has invested heavily in the resources necessary to facilitate entry into the under-served water bottling industry. The 25,000 sq. ft. facility features 15,000 sq. ft dedicated to molding, a 7,400 sq. ft tool room, and 2,600 sq. ft of office space. The plant boasts a proprietary heating system, designed by the Company’s owner, which allows the facility to produce much of its own heat. Significant excess capacity in the facility would allow for the addition of a 2nd and even 3rd shift, enabling sales levels several times those currently projected. Client base is comprised primarily of Midwestern firms, offering ample opportunity for geographic expansion. Founding owner, a long-time industry veteran, would be willing to remain for an extended transition.
