Business Summary:
The concept for this product arose from Company founder\'s frustration with the time consuming process of filling and sanding finish nail holes on a home improvement project. The Company was established in the fall of 2004 to develop and commercialize a self-concealing pneumatically driven finish nail. At the core of this Nail System is a specially designed and patented finish nail that is shaped to enter wood and composites smoothly and cleanly with minimal disruption to the surface (unlike traditional finish nails). Molded around the head of the nail is a polymer that is hard enough to withstand the hit from the driver on a pneumatic gun but is also pliable enough to fill in the hole created by the nail. The nail is driven into the wood so the top of the nail head is either even with the wood surface or slightly proud and requiring minimal sanding. Current ownership has a patent protected product that has already garnered significant interest among companies in this industry including end users but also Construction Materials Manufacturers.
