The Company has the most unique source of reclaimed wood in the world. This wood has high integrity, is well weathered, is uniquely colored and has a great story in terms of its history and source.
These features cause the Company’s products to be highly sought after in the fast-growing “green” building industry. As a result of these features, and of the extensive source of wood available, the Company has become the premier provider of reclaimed wood siding to green builders in the United States. Reclaimed products are 100% green as they are derived from products that have served their useful life and are being reclaimed for a new use.
The Company has a growing list of high profile corporate customers that include Bass Pro Shops, Captain D’s restaurants, Starbucks, Whole Foods, etc., as well as three long-standing distributors in Japan.
Inventory and access to inventory is key, and the wood is processed and inventoried in a state of the art warehouse in preparation for shipment to the customers. The company maintains long term proprietary contracts that secure its access to inventory. The inventory value under current contract is approximately $30,000,000 of which approximately $1,000,000 is currently in house. An additional exclusive contract providing low basis access to another $3,000,000 in inventory is in place and underway.
